BIG HELPER

We were getting ready to some place or I was trying to get dinner ready, and little Austin needed some attention. I was hoping the tv would help, but Austin was not interested. Lincoln was a great help, he would rock Austin in his seat and he would be very content. I think Lincoln will be a big help when new baby Russell comes.

The boat ride

Hilary and Chris got a boat and we went for a ride the other day. Lincoln, Paige and Austin got to come too. Lincoln and Paige were not too sure about it (this was their first boat ride) but when it was time to turn around and head back in they didn't want to. I forgot how relaxing it was to be out on the water like that. I didn't want to come in either. Hope we get to enjoy the water like that more often!! Thanks, Hil and Chris!!
CAPTAIN CHRIS!!
Lincoln was very much enjoying himself!!
Lincoln and Paige really enjoyed "Baby Austin" while they were here. Paige was always patting him on his head. They both liked to make him laugh.

HI MOMMY

HI MOMMY WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU, AND YOU TOO DADDY

OUR 3 LITTLE ANGELS

This is a funny sequence.
It is always hard to get three little ones looking at the camera and smiling at the same time.
This is what happened with our effort!
Everyone look here.
Paige Lincoln smile--Austin Austin Hi Austin
Paige Lincoln keep looking here--SMILE
Austin isn't quite sure!?
Lincoln and Paige lost their balance and back they went-- Austin is not sure about this at all!!
All think it is really funny except Austin

MY LITTLE MODEL

I have always enjoyed sewing, and recently learned how to make jewelry, and I enjoy that as much. So I have started selling both, AND I have the BEST little model. Thanks Paige for letting Grammy use you as a little model. I love you bunches!!

Lincoln and Paige

Heidi and Matt are in the middle of a move and Heidi is 5 months pregnant with another little girl. Steve and I thought it would be a good idea to have Lincoln and Paige stay with us for a few days while they move from Virginia Beach, VA to Jacksonville, no not Florida (wish full thinking) but N.C. We are having a bunch of fun with them, and they sure keep us busy.

LITTLE ANGEL

Our little man 3 and 1/2 months

Austin is just a growing!! I love to Buda Buda his little tummy. He is quite a content little guy. I didn't have an extra little outfit for him this day, but I did have a SMALL onesie, and it was
"form fitting"
He is really smiling now, and even starting to laugh.

33 YEARS!

June 21, 1975 - June 21, 2008

This is crazy, but I can't find the picture from our anniversary--will have to post it another time.
33 years, where has the time gone?? Life just seems to get better--those things that used to cause so much stress between the two of you, just don't seem to make a difference anymore. Life is good, and why cloud it up! After 33 years we know each other pretty well, and enjoy the times we share--it could be having our children and grandchildren around, that walk on the beach, a special meal together, our car trips, even just the quiet time when nothing has to be said, just the fact that we are together is enough!! Happy Anniversary Steven, thanks for all you do, and lets just hope for lots more!

We had a fun evening. Steve planned it all. We went to the Alhambra and saw Sound of Music and had a wonderful evening. We sat at a table with a couple that was selebrating their 42nd anniversary.

FATHERS DAY

There is a funny story about this Fathers Day gift. Steve really enjoys working outside, BUT more often than not his fingers seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The last time he had to go to Acute Care facility---the clippers seemed to clip off the end of middle finger on his left hand!! If you look close in the picture, the nail on his pointer on his right hand is a little black--the third one is hidden. Holly got him two good pair of working gloves and he promises to wear them whenever working outside!! You promised sweetie!!

Hilary and I made dinner for Steve and Chris on Fathers Day. It was a relaxing Sunday afternoon. Pictured are 2 very special fathers. Not pictured is Matt, and we heard he had a nice Fathers Day also. There are special memories of many other fathers, and we are blessed to have had them in our lives!

Ice Cream for the little guy

Does he like it or not??
Only time will tell-but being a member
of this family chances are he will!!!!

Newest employee

Austin and I hang out on Tuesdays and Fridays, and we frequently do our job at the office, so he is officially the newest on staff at Steven L. Stansbury and Associates. GOOD JOB AUSTIN!

Kasey

Actually Kasey has blond hair, and her real name is not "Rosie Alverez" from Bye Bye Birdie. While I was in Utah, I got in touch with a dear friend, Emma, and found out Kasey and her husband Ross were performing at a dinner theater in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Kasey and Heidi were best friends at Ricks. They clicked through letters even before they met. They sure helped each other out during those two years at Ricks. Kasey was in Heidi's wedding, and Heidi and I went to Kasey's wedding. Emma, Kasey's mom and I clicked the same as Kasey and Heidi, we keep in touch and try to get together when we can. Kasey did a GREAT job, and Ross did a great job as that grouchy dad.

Quick trip to see Holly

June 5th - the 9th
I had a chance to visit Holly for a few days, and what a great time we had. It has been a long time since I have had one on one time with her, and it was well needed!! We go to talk about so much. We also had some good meals, some home made and some out. Holly made a great chicken and cranberry crock pot dinner, and I really love going to Cafe Rio!!! I did a little walking and Holly did some running (quite a bit I will say). I think it was 6 or 7 miles then, and I hear she is doing 9 or 10 now. The night before we left, we walked up around the Provo Temple, you can just about see it in the background. Was a nice way to spend my last night! Holly, I miss you!

Holly, Sheryl, Megan and Alisa were old roomates (Megan is still her roomate). We all spen the night at Alisa's house. I went to sleep early, but they stayed up untill the wee hours remenissing and catching up on each others lives. Was fun listening, they sure did laugh a lot.

Little Austin

Steve and I were watching Austin one evening so that Hilary and Chris could go out. These are a few pictures showing his different personalities. He sure is a mellow little guy.

Jewelry

This was a hysterical fun project. Lolee and I decided to make some silver jewelry. We didn't have the right tools, the wind was blowing with about 40mph gusts?! But we still wanted to sit outside. Our glasses were just not strong enough, but our mission was accomplished, and we completed a bracelett!

BREAKFAST AND FARMERS MARKET

It was a little chilly, but we were loving it!! We had breakfast out on the warf one morning.
The Farmers Market is always a hit for us. All the fresh and organic fruits and vegetables. The peaches were especially yummy and flowers, oh my gosh, they were beautiful and all grown locally.
And the vaccume cleaner guy that played the accordian--quite an attraction!

MEMORIES

Opps I did it again----Steve and Lolee have special memories of "Lyall Achers" their grandparents place in San Bernendeno. They would go there, pack a lunch and ride their ponies all day long. They would eat fresh vegetables from Papa Lyall's garden, and just have the best time, so when they get together there is always lots of reminissing. And those memories are really triggered as Lolee and Steve ride horses together.

R and R at the Reibers

Those are not clouds you are looking at. We were in Soquel, CA and that smoke was coming from about 30 miles away. We were on our way up to feed Lolee's horses, and I mentioned that I rarely saw clouds in the sky in CA. Lolee figured it wasn't clouds but it had to be smoke. Their area and home were not in danger, but plans were and arrangements were talked about.

Quick stop in Utah

On our way out to visit Steve's sister in CA, we had a 4 hour lay over in SLC-----so guess what we did!! We got to visit with Holly for that time. She was able to rearrange her work schedule,so we were off for some Mexican food and a walk around Temple Square. What a nice treat!
The flowers are always so pretty. Tulip time was just coming to an end, and there were areas where they were planting summer flowers. It was sure nice to spend time with Holly and enjoy the peacefulness of Temple Square. Time did go to fast!
We went to the park and the zoo. Paige liked riding on Austin's stroller. At the park we played ball, Lincoln can really hit it, and Paige loved running the bases. At the zoo, not pictured, Hilary, Lincoln and Paige had fun playing in the water fountains!

Bubbles, bubbles, and more bubbles.

VIRGINIA TRIP

Sorry, I forgot to turn the pictures!? Hilary, Austin and I drove up to Virginia to visit Heidi and her family. Hilary really wanted to be able to do that before she went back to work. The drive was easy and Austin was a champ!
Saturday afternoon we went to downtown Virginia Beach. This has really been a nice place for them to live. Matt has had a great opportunity being a dentist, Heidi has made some wonderful friends, and Lincoln and Paige have learned about, and learned to respect someone in a military uniform. Matt has enjoyed and has gotten to be a good golfer. Hey Matt, on a scale from one to ten, which scores higher, golfing or mountain biking?
Hilary was relaxing! Austin was about 2 months when Hilary and I drove up there. The three grandchildren were so cute together. Paige was definitely the little mother. She was always checking on him and patting his head.
