Mothers Day

We celebrated Mother's Day on Saturday evening. Hilary and Chris and Steve and I went to Aqua Grill and had a great evening visiting and eating outside. It was so relaxing, the weather was beautiful and the food wonderful. Austin was the best little baby. It was so relaxing we stayed almost 4 hours. On Mother's Day I always think about the many women that played a wonderful role as a Mom in my life. My own Mom wasn't able to enjoy so many of the pleasures that I have enjoyed being a Mom. I am sure that she is, and others that have Mothered me are watching, and to them I am very grateful. It has been and continues to be my greatest joy. I pinch myself as I sit back and watch our girls with their children and I marvel.

Steve, Hilary and Austin hung around for Bunko. They also enjoyed visiting with everyone, the great food, and I enjoyed showing off our newest grand baby!! Steve commented on how much fun everyone was having!

Bunko Babes

Monday was also Cinco De Mayo, so I added a little Mexican twist, with Linda Ronstadt's "Canciones di me Radre" (Mexican music) in the background.
I didn't think to take a food picture before!? This was before everyone came back for seconds!

I have belonged to a Bunko group for about 9 years and we meet the first Monday of the month. Everyone brings a dish---sometimes we have a few more deserts than main dishes!? It is just a fun, relaxing evening with lots of laughs. We are all getting into the grand baby stage, and there are always lots of pictures to pass around. I really enjoy all the ladies and look forward to that first Monday of the month.

Rusty-But Not Forgotten

A little rusty, but not forgotten. Little Austin was visiting, we were having company that evening and he decided to be a little fussy. Hilary left this little front pack with me, on it went and "walla" Austin was happy, and I was able to finish all I needed with time left to just play with him. WOW was that ever a "flash back".
