WE MADE IT!!! And a hike to remember. The mountains in the east are beautiful. As we were driving around I would say to Steve, "I feel like I was home", everything just felt so familiar!
When we hicked Mooselauke at Steve's 25th reunion the girls were with us. We went up and down the same way, and we were 15 years younger, this time we went up and down two different ways. Boy we were hurting on the way down. We were sore for a couple of days! BUT so was everyone else!
This was at the top, and boy was it was cold and windy there. We were glad to be there, but knew it was a long way back down!
This was really a long hike, and this was the BEGINNING. It was a beautiful day, great for hiking. A little cool and cloudy. There were about 14 of us on the hike.
